Professional Background

Claire Weightman is a highly-experienced Australian-registered Clinical Psychologist, with more than 35 years of continuous professional practice and study as a psychologist. 

Claire has worked in private medical practices, community, hospital and government settings. She has assisted more than 30,000 individuals, as well as couples, families and community groups experiencing periods of challenge, transition and personal growth.

Claire has worked extensively in regional, remote and metropolitan environments, holding senior clinical positions in private practice, hospitals, community health organisations, welfare agencies and Federal Government services. 

She has also been involved in national mental health program development, public policy initiatives and organisational consulting.
